At the end of April, a group of students from the Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre visited Marketex Marine.
The students were given a tour of the company’s new production facilities, such as assembly ways shop and paint booth. Fish farming barges under construction, automatic assembly and welding line, transportation system for large-sized structures and the only crane in the Baltic States with a lifting capacity of 850 tons to launch barges, were shown to them too. Sergey Tsebrjak, Head of Production at Marketex Marine, clearly demonstrated how a metal sheet is gradually transforming into a finished turnkey product.
And at the beginning of April, students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the TalTech University of Applied Sciences learned about the feed barges equipment and manufacturing processes in the shops of Marketex Marine. Future engineers the company is really short of, were told about the largest and most unique projects of Marketex Marine in recent years as well.
